In Motion

The 26th annual Tour De Moore cycling event took place across Moore County on Monday, September 7, 2015. Cyclists left the Campbell House in Southern Pines at 7:15 AM, 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM on 100 mile, 50 mile and 28 mile (consecutively) rides, with various finishers completing their rides near mid-afternoon at the Campbell House for a cookout and music.

Paradox Farm
- Paradox Farm is an organic goat farm and creamery located in West End, North Carolina. Owner Sue Stovall spent the summer of 2015 working with a volunteer from the World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms, which is a network of national organizations that places volunteers on organic farms across the world.

Toure, originally from Mali and attending University in Paris, is a volunteer with World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF) for farm owner Sue Stovall, who runs a goat cheese creamery and farm in West End, North Carolina.
- Part of Tema Toure’s chores include feeding goats at Paradox Farm on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in West End. Toure also works with farm owner Sue Stovall in the creamery, where they milk 21 goats every morning, usually starting at 6:30 AM.
